Another fugging Hardy thread?

After ignoring every single previous thread, what the fug.

To the national media. Hardy has been found GUILTY by a judge. Sure he gets to appeal. But he is appealing a GUILTY verdict. So in the eyes of the media, and the masses as well. He is GUILTY.

This is fugged up. Go against popular opinion and let him play until his appeal is played out. Or sit him for the next 5 weeks and kow tow to the media. Then if/when he is found not guilty, all hell gets to break free.

There is no good answer to this mess.

It makes sense.  I mean, it's unfathomably stupid that our team is being put in a position where we have jockey media storylines against one another in hopes of avoiding a pitchfork-wielding mob of angry peasants.  Sure would be nice if some supposed "sports" journalists covering a football team would...I don't know...talk about the football played by that team?  I know, I know.  I have crazy dreams.

One of the more absurd things of this entire ordeal is I don't think there are that many people that truly care. It's easy to send a tweet, email, or Facebook message. But how many people care enough to affect the bottom line? How many people are picketing the NFL offices? With social media and billions of people on this planet you can trump up outrage over anything.

I think the media are going nuts because they have 24 hours to cover 365 days a year and they need stories.

But yes, I think it's ridiculous the Panthers are having to monitor public and media opinions when making personnel decisions. They collectively bargained a process and they should stick to it.

Most here refuse to accept this very basic fact.

Let them do it.  Fug this.  I wish Richardson would just hire someone to explain to "the media" at a press conference the legal process in North Carolina.  Explain that Greg Hardy has rights, mob persecution be damned.  Explain that if you are too lazy to research/investigate for yourself and be spoon-fed their BS, then this mob will continue and actually be emboldened.   I wish Big Cat/Rivera would activate Hardy for Week 3 even with Bob Costas covering just to stand up for common fugging sense and make ol' Bob lose his mind on national TV.  He is a face and a voice, a vapid human being.  He receives the most distilled version of things and has a platform to influence an entire swath of America with just a soundbite.  This is so disturbing how this is going down, how people with even a modicum of common sense won't just say, "OK, we freaked out for a week, let's slow our roll" ... but it won't happen methinks. Will it?

Unfortunately he'd have to state that to the media.  Media would show as little of that, if any, as possible.

What can we do to have this happen? I'm tired of HardyGate. I want a resolution our involvement in abuse scandals currently ongoing in the NFL.

How much the public still cares about the stories. I can see hardy playing in week 5 after everyone has moved on and another big story breaks.

So the mania dies down a little and the Panthers slip Hardy back into the lineup? That won't fly and I guarantee it won't happen.

I wonder who is the weak link on the offensive line? You would think it would be the rookie Turner but I have seen Amini look bad at times. I have also noticed that there has been some communication issues. I hope we can fix these problems in practice because we won't be successful long. There is a lot of games left to improve.

I have seen many teams have problems running the ball but figure it all out in the playoffs. We won't go far in the playoffs if we continue this trend.

I don't understand the terms "To the national media" and "In the eyes of".....He IS guilty.  He HAS been pronounced guilty by a judge.

He's not guilty "in the eyes of"  or "to" someone....The fact is he IS guilty.
