cancelled yes? not that it matters, even if the stadium is full of panther fans only they're still a pedestrian home crowd. late getting to seats for opening kick off, late getting to seats after half, not very knowledgeable as far as when to get loud and when to quiet down and opposing teams fans historically rep well in BOA. I'd love for this trend to finally get turned around

To be fair, the new bag policy has really messed up people getting into the stadium. It's not the actual policy but the employees at the entrance and the organization to it. Add in horrible Charlotte traffic and the fact there isn't decent parking surrounding the stadium like in most stadiums. Yes, people should get there earlier though

Not sure why after halftime though, people ordering bojangles?

Dale Jr. owns it and I'll never step foot in it.  An overrated piece of crap establishment, just like its' owner, who, if his last name was Smith or Jones, would be lucky to be driving on a dirt track.

Speculation has it that Danica Patrick is teaming up with Johnny Manziel for the rally on Saturday, December 20th.

They open the gates hours before kickoff. The entrances get clogged because everyone tries running in 5 minutes before kickoff. The 1st Q is almost over before everyone gets to their seat. Then half the stadium heads for the concourse around the 2-minute warning. Which means it's midway through the 3rd Q before everyone is back again. The worst part comes in the 4th, though. 90% of the stadium leaves with 4-5 minutes remaining in the game. Why, I have no idea. You're not gonna beat the traffic. Well, I always do. I don't have to park as close to the stadium as possible because I'm too lazy to walk. I always park in a lot right at the interstate ramp.

I seriously don't get it at all. Those tickets aren't cheap, there's only 8 games a year, and I don't see the point in even going if you are only gonna watch 25% of the game. The games are only about 3 hours. I've been to dozens of games and have never missed a snap. It's really not that difficult. Panthers fans irk me to no end.

i'll say it's because NC is a college basketball state and the panthers haven't been around long enough or good for long enough to get a rabid following...but on the other hand the hurricanes have a fantastic fan base...even tho they suck and it's hockey in the south. transplants play a big part but they've done a good job of building their following. panthers should take notes

College basketball is boring as hell. UNC/Duke/State fans are the absolute worst thing about living in NC. There's a valid reason the Canes have good attendance; Raleigh is a boring dump and there's literally nothing else to do around there.

The Panthers struggle because Charlotte and NC/SC is mostly transplants from all over. Charlotte really exploded in the 90s. It's not like '88 when the Hornets came along and were the only thing in town for locals.

Cam Newton is a polarizing figure. If he can elevate and become the best player in the league, and win multiple Super Bowls, it will make the fan base explode. But that's how extreme it will have to be. It's not like the Hornets where everyone goes crazy over them even though they suck. The Panthers are gonna have to be consistently great to grow a rabid following.

I'm curious how good the Hurricanes fanbase was before that Stanley Cup?
