PFF thinks Gano still plays for the Redskins

There was a Greg Olsen graphic with Thomas Davis's face on twitter the other day. Our beloved Brian Billick was praising Kordell Stewart for the Minnesota Vikings, also known as Cordarelle Patterson.

And honestly Kelvin needs to legally change his name to Calvin because no one can consistently nail that. They just look at him and think Megatron.

How Can San Fransisco that allowed 27 pts have 2 players on the Defensive team of the week, while the Panthers who was the first team who held the Lions to 7 pts in almost 2 years only have a kicker?

Pro Football Focus "grades" players individually based on their performance. There are several flaws to this, most notably they have no idea what either team is doing. Coach Ron has lamented Byron Bell's critics because on many occasions he did the correct thing and someone else let him down. PFF has no way of knowing that.

But nobody should take that website or any other website as anything but entertainment purposes only. Coach Ron and Gettleman have a good grip on our team. Many of us ripped the Roman Harper signing because he played like poo in New Orleans. But we run a different scheme and he has been a fit for us.

Plus they don't mention that the 1 kickoff the Lions tried to return was fumbled, and Gano recovered it. <sigh>

Why would they mention it was fumbled?  They are grading Gano there not the coverage unit.  And him recovering a fumble doesn't really mean anything except the returner broke through most of the coverage if Gano was in position to recover it.

Yeah, but how many kickers would have had the balls to dive into a pile of large angry men to try to get a recovery?

That showed some guts for a guy paid to just kick the ball.
