It's purely coincidental. Buzzfest was announced the day the name changed. As lindsey said, this is about the Hornets, not Nelly.

Nelly is a superstar and he's a minority owner why wouldn't they want him hosting. They don't need to be thinking about Greg. I doubt Nelly & Hardy are even the slightest friends so I don't see where the foul play is dude. Girls like her obviously throw themselves at athletes and entertainers. He had some cooch thrown and he snatched it. He probably didn't have to initiate it or work for it at all. This ain't on him. I'll admit you do have a beautiful mind though. I hope you use it to your advantage in life but this in my opinion is reading way too much into it.

Didn't say he shouldn't be involved in any of the Hornet's business decisions did I?  I said it might not be a good idea to have him perform in simultaneous conjunction with the Hardy trial considering his named is going to get dropped quite a bit before and during that trial.....for doing something pretty fugged up.

The whole case is predicated around rumors my man.  The reality is that one of the owners of the Hornets slept with a high profile Panther players girlfriend and in the midst uproar he decides it's a good idea to be the main celeb for the Hornets inauguration,  I just don't understand how that's a good business decision.  Does he have the right?  Sure.  Does it make business sense?  No.  Does it have the potentiality to give the Hornets bad press leading up to the event?  Yes.  Is it distasteful?  To some,  not to others.

A break up is a break up. Either you're split up or you're not. But unless they were friends it's not wrong if he slept with her especially if she told him they had split up.

Right. Entrepeneur (applebottom clothing, nba part owner, record label) multiplatinum recording artist. I wasn't referring to solely his music. He hasn't had a hit in awhile but the guy still has a huge persona.

That's a different discussion.  Considering she was fresh off of a break up with a Star NFL player.....he should have known it wasn't a great idea.  Either way....I wouldn't expect to see too many players at the games this year.

 

These pro athletes run in the same social circles. I highly doubt he didn't know who she was seeing.
