Rivera coming up on NFL Network to discuss Hardy.

Nothing has changed but the media narrative.

It makes us look worse because it gives the impression that we are waiting to see what media is saying before we can make a decision. Not making a decision based on whether a person deserves full due process or because they want to take domestic violence seriously.

We are basically saying, "if the media cools off he will play, but if they are still upset we will deactivate him"

Yeah I can kind of see that but I really think it's more about them taking the time to discuss it and come to a group decision.

And the media narrative isn't the only thing that changed, the mindset of our front office and HC on Greg's issue has changed.  They are taking it more seriously and are being proactive rather than the typical NFL mindset of separation of church and state in regards to the legal process.

I kind of view the deactivation as they pretty much needed more time to make a decision.  I don't think it makes us look weak or indecisive.

That being said they better not make this a week to week thing, they need to release a concrete decision and stick to it this week, otherwise it will become a major distraction.

Stop it, just stop it.. We can play legal semantics all day long but he was found guilty by a judge. He asked for a bench trial, it was granted and he was found guilty.  I know he did it, you know he did it and he knows he did it.  I'm over it,   I've moved on, so should you.  At the end of the day, Hardy hung around with cocaine addicts and the lot he ran with caught up to him.

They either need to suspend until trial is over or cut Hardy. Though they risk losing locker room if do that...

Or...

Play Hardy until found guilty and issue statement explaining the guilty verdict was nullified and the whole process

I think what they're doing is just fine.  By deactivating  Hardy you balance the line of both supporting the player, and doing what's "right."

We can't and we shouldn't cut him until we have a good feeling of how the process is going to play out in court.  Hardy has already been punished enough through public scrutiny.  Not only that this has cost him millions on his next contract.  All this done by a "cast the first stone" media that's "tar and feathered" him like he's a murderer on Nancy Grace.

I don't want to get into a full blown argument so i'll leave it at this.

You know nothing Jon Snow.
