Dear NFL Rookies - Don't trash talk Luke Kuechly

Luke defiantly has a switch that flips.

Thomas Davis also seems to have amped up is bark a tad more than years ago

TD and Kuechly absolutely feed off each other, not emotionally and in their actual play on the field. You can almost see them just trying to one up each other on every play and then get in the others face to challenge them to beat that.

TD was always great, Kuechly was always going to be great, but together they push each other to just a completely new level of greatness.

and I just love to sit back and enjoy the show

Some years back, a young tackle named Everett McIver thought he'd do a little trash talking to the veteran DE across from him.

The DE was a fellow by the name of Bruce Smith.

McIver's act pissed Smith off so much he nearly killed Boomer Esaiason. Smith actually felt bad because he and Esaiason were friends.

McIver didn't last too long as a left tackle.

You can see the rage but he's still got the cyborg ninja assassin eyes... lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be livin'. Until he hits ya and those black eyes roll over white. And then, ah then you hear that terrible high pitch screamin'...

If Everette would have pushed Bruce enought to have finished off Boomer, he might be one of my favorite players in NFL history.
