While avant and cotchery are dependable, they arent exactly young and arent known as playmakers. I think kb was the necessary pick.

Rivera and company have shown that they can take just about any bunch of DBs and make them work. KB was far more valuable to us. I get the feeling that Rivera and Gettleman would rather have an elite safety than an elite CB. Seems like we've been kicking the tires of the top safeties in the last two drafts.
