I love love Ron but damn he messed up on the Hardy thing. Dont worry, this isnt a stupid "fire Rivera" I am just of the strong opinion he messed up and drew waaay more attnetion now by benching him. Im fully confident if Hardy played this would have been the last we heard of it from the media and it would have blown over and the media would have gotten over it.

Even if they didnt, oh well. Now he cant play Hardy at all because he will look like a flip flopper. I love Rivera and I truely 100% believe he will take us to the SB this year but he messed up big time with his last minute decision of Hardy. He should know better the public and media have the attention span of a 2 year old and of Hardy played they would forget

I am damn sure loving this new Ron.  My only theory is all the negative bs the media is spewing about us is getting to him.  First it was all the "team most likely to regress" nonsense and now with the Hardy stuff and Donkey Kong stuff I think last week was more of a "fug yea, fug those guys, you guys weren't perfect but at least we made them look like assholes picking the GD Bucs over us" and this week it was just "fug you guys for trying to ruin one of my player's reputation and life".  If Ron keeps this edge, the team keeps this edge and we're going to be a GD typhoon traveling all over the country this year wrecking teams.

Agreed...at one point during the post-game press conference he told the press that if the next question wasn't about football that "this is over".

 

He reasonably said any more Hardy questions and he'd be done talking. He spoke for like a minute and a half about the Hardy thing and said pretty much everything he could possibly say, he was fine to say any more Hardy questions and I'm done.

If we win the SB the same way the Bears did, I wouldn't necessarily complain....

 

I just wouldn't want the same conflict between Rivera and our coordinators like Ditka had with Buddy Ryan. That's what prevented them from creating a dynasty. We want 5 SBs out of Rivera/Cam/Luke era, not just 1.
