Angry Rivera

I have been wondering about this.  Last week, rivera scowled on the sideline all afternoon.  Then gave the angriest sounding post victory speech in the locker room, ever.

 

Fast forward to today.  More scowls, then an abrasive, combative post-game press conference.  I think Rivera is slowly morphing himself into someone he knows well.

Agreed...at one point during the post-game press conference he told the press that if the next question wasn't about football that "this is over".

It's the Ron Rivera death stare. First pointed towards Joe Person, the death stare is something you will never want to see coming from behind Rivera's transitioning lenses. IF you do, it means your a dumbass or have displayed dumbass characteristics

I'm loving this side of Rivera. So happy they didn't fire him. But to be honest, when he was on the hot seat he wasn't this tenacious.

I love what Ron has done with himself. He looks like a tough SOB. Our defense has been effective and unpredictable. Our body language is excellent. And I have no problem with him going after the media because they are forcing personnel decisions on him that deviate from the framework the NFL and NFLPA agreed upon. 

 

Think about how absurd it is the Panthers have to sit Hardy and pay him money with no structure or guidelines because the media isn't satisfied with the process.

I'm loving pissed off Ron. This team has a definite mean streak to them. Watching some of our tackles looks like wwe not nfl and can't say that hurts my feelings none

I love Ditka's intensity. He led probably the most feared team in decades to the 85 Championship.

Hopefully Ron only takes Ditka's better points.
