Undefeated Teams After Week 2

That "typical John Fox team" has had far more success than we have. Not saying I don't like our current staff, but it's loooong past time Panther fans recognize how good a coach John Fox was/is. The guy won a playoff game with The Golden Calf of Bristol. Discussion over.

I don't disagree, but his teams do tend to under-perform when they're heavily favored. It was almost always the case here. He's much better coaching an underdog.

I'm not surprised by Houston after beating Washington and Oakland.  They got to play probably the two worst teams in the NFL after Tampa and STL.  **EDIT - Washington WITH RGIII is one of the worst teams in the NFL**  Houston is a solid 8-8 team with that defense but the real Ryan Fitzpatrick will show up when they play some real defenses.

Buffalo is surprising, but this isn't the first time they've started hot.  They've definitely got some talent but Buffalo always seems to end up at the bottom of the NFL....every time...

Dude has a cupcake division in a cupcake conference and has a GM who has spent tons of money on talent the past 3 years.

Yet he still is getting blown out in the SB. Really what the fug are you on? Crack?

I think Houston will surprise everyone. They were a dominate team and really fell apart last year. They still have Foster, Watt, Cushing, Johnson. They added some new players and cut their struggling QB which was the main problem last year. Foster looks backs in shape which they missed last year as well.

If Clowney recovers from his injury this season their defense will be very scary.

In 2002 both the Panthers and the Cardinals went 3-0 to start the season.  Neither made the playoffs.  We lost 8 games in a row after that.  I don't think we will do that this year but take the start of the season with a grain of salt.  The Giants look like they will be 0-16 but they looked that way at the first of last year as well and still won 7 games.

Getting off to a quick start was vital for us given our schedule in October.  So we are were I hoped we would be.  Going 4-0 the first 4 games is huge and obviously sets up for later on.  Sure it is 1 game at a time but being 2-0 beats the hell out of being New Orleans at 0-2.

BTW the reason New Orleans isn't going to win the next 8 is because their defense is suspect especially away from home.  What kept us in games last year on the road was a great defense which kept it close until the offense found a way to win.  Truth is some of that applied to yesterday for that matter.
