I think this is very interesting. I think everyone is assuming that he was deactivated undue to the charges. Perhaps that held a small part in RRs decision.

What if RR made the decision based on Hardy missing practice and maybe not being totally prepared for today's game. RR said he "had to do what was best for the team" if Hardy wasn't ready or pot commited, that could be the real reason for him being inactive.
