Defense is still stout. Offense is still conservative, but with better hands at the WR position. and more creative play calling. The special teams is well-coached. Cam is markedly more mature and makes better decisions.  Luke and Thomas Davis have turned it up a notch. Dwan Edwards, who may be the forgotten man, is still solid.  Big Frank and Greg Hardy may not be available, but Addison is not a slouch.

 

I could go on, but you get the point.  We, and now the rest of the NFL, now know that we are not a team that can be taken lightly under any circumstances this year.

Secondary looks surprisingly improved.

The only thing concerning me is our running game. We didn't have today. Without Dwill our running game is not there. Stewart can grind and break some tackles for a few yards here and there. But overall we need Dwill back in a bad way. Far as Mario Addison go. The guy could easly replace Hardy at a much less cheaper price with no drop off in the front 4. If Addison does keep playing this well over the next few weeks and keeps getting sacks. If I was DG I wouldn't wait until the end up the season when Addison has got 10-12 sacks to extend his contract. Give him a few more games. If he proves can keep producing this good. Panthers need to extend Addison to long term contract at a cheaper price. Maybe 5 yr. 25 million 17-18 gtd and 2 million sign bonus. So can save money and put it in other areas of the team.

Haha yeah man.  A few more pieces and we will be even more of a juggernaut.  Seriously though, Cam deserves better than what he gets from the Carolina fan base.  I'm pretty sure if I met of these posters in person I would physically assault about 40% of them.  Because trying to reason with them does no good.  It sucks when you have to say that about your fellow "fans".

Ehhhh I would say that ever since Chud's gameplan has been thrown out Cam has been wiser about checking down.

 

I attribute it more toward Shula's play calling though, as Chud didn't utilize too many checkdowns.

You really think Cam has been playing the same?!  Last year he started playing within the system & he is continuing that this year.  He is not playing the same as always & Cam wouldn't agree with your assessment either.  Cam hasn't grown during his time in the league?  And you ask what game he has been watching?!
