This team is legit, DG is building a perennial contender. The Lions aren't some scrub team (like the Browns for example hahaha), they're very talented and we were clearly the better team on the field today, no question. Stopped going to the gameday chat or threads awhile ago because the majority of it is just emotional knee-jerk reactions and whining.

Guys first and foremost let me apologize. I said some things today I shouldnt have said and going forward I will do everything in my power to stop being "that fan" that says stupid crap non stop. I was just very upset with the Hardy situation and how Rivera handled it I got over emotional. I cant promise I will never say stupid stuff again because im human but I can without a doubt promise to give a real effort to control what I say.

Cam silenced my calls today to start DA, the fact it was his 1st game back and he played the way he did he made me look foolish. I will say this, today was a turning point for me. I am no longer worried about who we play and our opponenets. All homerism aside, I have NFal redzone so yes I can see first hand how all other teams look around the league and I can honestly say the ONLY team I would say is miles better than us is Denver.

No team besides them scares me. Not one single game on this schedule scares me anymore. We are just that good. I can say this with 100% confidence, if you asked me right now who the two best teams in the NFL are its us and Denver. Our franchise QB is out and we have to play an away game in 110 degree weather with a backup QB who hasnt started since 2010? No prob, we win anyway.

Our star DE is out all the while our franchise QB has his first game back from two injuries all while dealing with the distraction of Hardy?! No worries, we just destroyed a legit Lions team 24-7 and held the best WR of all time quite possibly to 0 TDs and less than 100 yds.

Im done worrying, not one single team left on our roster worries me. We are just so good that at this point I doubt we could lose even if we tried.

If you read the game day thread for the entertainment value, it is sufferable. If however, you are looking for football knowledge and insight. You will be disappoint.

It isn't just the new guys either. Some very established Huddlerz just can't keep it together.

I always wait until the second quarter to start reading the thread. That way I don't have to try and keep up. I just read it for the entertainment. If things aren't going perfectly, it can be too funny. These guys have no awareness of how pitiful they sound.

Personally. I LOVE IT.

It was a great game.

Game day on the whole is much better for me since I make it a point of emphasis to keep off the huddle during the game. We have way too many fragile egos and spineless, yet self-entitled douchebags in the forum during the games to actually get anything out of it.

Abstinence is a good policy while Riverboat Ron's wrecking crew is in the course of doin' work.

I could not find a better option for surviving game day with the huddle so this for me is proving to be a tough but good decision so far.

sweet jesus god, the gameday thread and chat was like sitting through a hailstorm of brat tears and 49ers fans punting their year-old flatbrims back into closets filled with pokemon paraphanalia and drake posters. i try not to hate on our fans because we all have our cohort of insufferable milquetoasts, but god damn from cam's first incompletion we had gutless shrimp calling for derek anderson to start.

instead, cam threw for 281 yards and a TD, coming up aces in critical situations on multiple drives. avant caught a touchdown. defense balled out with multiple sacks (including 2.5 from hardy backup mario addison in the waning moments of the game.) philly brown looked great. stew was effective enough, with a modest 3 ypc but a TD. offensive line handled suh for the most part, and the secondary handled calvin johnson for the most part, two of the best players in the league at their position. shula called an effective second half, adjusting to burgeoning weaknesses in the secondary

….and now we're 2-0, without our starting back, right end, and an injury-stifled quarterback. so please stop being giant perspectiveless baby posters on this forum for the next 14 weeks while we finish out this season kicking ass. we're having too much fun for your bullshit.
