Greg who?

Once these guys get reps along with Frank Alexander coming back..we will be fine. When you have a stout defense you can deal with a loss like Hardy. The secondary seems to be much better also. So add Kony in the mix and they got this. Sorry Greg, you where not missed all that much today and probably less and less every game. You didn't want to play by the rules Greg...no problem....Mario's got this.

Hardy is a big piece to our d, he's a game changer hopefully this is a one time thing

If youre hoping Hardy isnt sitting out the next several games youre wrong.  Hardy is done with the Panthers till he is found not guilty in a jury trial.  If he is convicted he will be let go and if exonerated wont be resigned unless hes willing to take bottom dollar.

I don't care what anyone says, there were many times through the first half Hardy was missed. All too often there was not enough pressure and Addison is not as good at holding the edge.

That said, there's always things to improve on and 3 sacks from one guy won't cut it. We've played a team who will remain a question mark until at least week 6 and a team who beat a bad Giants team. Tough to make an informed decision at this point.

Guy gets a couple sacks against rookie offensive line and he's all-pro? We missed Hardy. No pressure for most of the game and the run defense felt it too. Detroit beat themselves as much as we beat them. We got lucky with missed field goals and drops. We should have been down 14 at the half or more. We are a great defense but we missed hardy.

Rivera said Hardy will play this season, just inactive today. Not to be the debbie downer after a great win but for god sakes Ron needs to grow a spine. Like Mike from Breaking Bad "No half measures" either A. cut him outright or B. let him play. None of this beating around the bush anymore. Its going to be 10x worse if you just deactivate him one game then let him return

It's not.  The media wants Hardy out period, and they will continue to beat that drum.  Why would Richardson bow to the media's demands only once?  Like I said we need to go ahead and release Hardy right now, get it over with.  His presence will be missed, no matter how good we are in spite of him not being there.

Media or Not, due process.....why release him? that has no positive effect whatsoever even if he is guilty

    • When we drafted Luke, we already had Cam, Smith, Olsen, Stewart, Deangleo, Gross, Kalil, CJ, Hardy, Beason, TD, Gamble (and maybe more I'm forgetting), we had a lot of great pieces in place. Going pure BPA for a player with Luke's potential when the LB you already have is different when you already have all those pieces in place.  Our OL right now is probably in a better shape than that team and our RBs and TE have potential compared to proven vets back then, but after that, the 2012 roster was in a far better shape than we are right now. We need a #1 WR, DEs, LBs, DBs, C, and depending who you ask a QB.  Going BPA at pick #5 when that player is a DT and your current best player on either side of the ball is a DT, seems irresponsible. If he's the only player they like that high left, then you trade back and go with position of more need at a slot that makes sense for the player while adding other picks.  If you trade back and he falls because other teams don't need/want a DT, then you consider him at that point because of the value.
    • This sounds like the same back and forth when we drafted a LB when we already had a LB or as mentioned prior back to back DLs. I want the BPA, if it is another DT so be it. (No not a kicker/punter for those people that think they are funny))
