Looking back, it was a Hurneyesque move to franchise Hardy.

 

It was most definitely. Gettleman also is mirroring his predecessor by knocking out first round picks and then coin tossing the rest. Turner and Bene look good, but we've already cut Barner, Edmund, and lost our yearly drafted RB. The only thing Gettleman has done unlike him would probably be cutting Smith, and not resigning players in general in favor for cheap free agents available.

 

I hope Ealy works out! If we missed another second round pick then this GM is screaming deja vu. I also hope he doesn't muff his first big contracts he signs to players.

the NFL suspension would be 6 games so he's probably back for the Oct 30 Saints game at the latest.
