I feel 10x worse about this game now. Our pass rush is supposed to mask our secondary and now our top sack guy is done for a while.

We still have CJ, KK, Star, Dwan, good blitzing linebackers, and a goos healthy stable of othet DEs that can rotate in and stay fresh. All of which are good pass rushers. Not worrying about it. Just win

Why do we have to sit him until November. NFL just stated a domestic Violence fist offense is 6 games. If he sat 6 games, that should be it, even if his trial hasnt even happened yet. 

 

That's why if anyone should be suspending Hardy, its the NFL, not the Panthers.   If the league suspends him then he loses game pay and the clock starts to tick on the 6 games.  Us deactivating him still allows him to get paid and since he isn't suspended it doesn't count towards the 6 games either, (although they may be able to go back retroactively and count it, I really don't know). 

 

Us deactivating him today doesn't hurt Hardy at all really, but it hurts the team which is why ESPN has been wanting us to do it all week.  They all picked us to suck this year and since we won last week suddenly they want to force us to dump our best defensive lineman.

i like how this is getting hardly any play.  so they caved into the league to "do the right thing" from an optics perspective and nobody gives a fug.  of course they don't!  it's fuging sunday!  nobody gives a fug about anything but football.  richardson can get fuged...dumbass.

They won't be embarrassed. They will simply NOT COVER IT, or it'll be a 5 second snippet just so they can say they mentioned it. It's the same game they play in politics. They blow something out of proportion, then when it ends up being nothing, they never set the record straight.

Anyone who is happy they got their way AGAIN should go take a shotgun to his head.
