Lesser known spelling/grammar fugups

Not sure if it's grammar or just a technicality, but jail vs. prison for me. Jail is where you are kept before you stand trial. Prison is where you serve a sentence.

Agreed with all. There are a lot of bad spellers here. If my grammar isn't proper then I will edit.

People using "insure" when they mean "ensure" is my personal peeve.

Also, those who write "could of" as some phonetic yet grammatically incorrect version of the contraction "could've" instead of "could have."

Could of, would have, should of, etc are definitely the most annoying. Like Jesus, it's clearly "I could have taken the train", because what the f*ck purpose would 'of' serve when saying "I could of taken the train" ...?

All due respect to the grammar nazi's but I've always felt that "I could care less" can be appropriate with certain context. To me it's like acknowledging a situation courteously, but also saying you are on the verge of not giving a poo.

most of the time you know what you are thinking and just spell it wrong, then some dumbass sees a way to make some internet points....

I consider thread where people bitch about the foibles of others while maintaining an air of superiority to be mouth-frothingly annoying.
