No. When you have wounds like that a week after its called abuse.

I would assume that he didn't intend for it to turn out that way.

People need to quit looking from the outside in, and act like they are better parents. I don't know whether AP is a bad dad or not, but my guess would be that he's a good father to his kids.

People need to quit helping the medias make their money. People on here are making a huge deal out of AP. There are worse things out there and no one pays attention to it. How come the media and you guys are not all over the dumb$hit from SC who killed his five kids and threw their bodies in Alabama? Where's that thread at?? But we're here targeting AP bc he's a NFL Star Player.

Care to explain what NC laws have to do with Texas?

Texas Penal Code Sec. 22.01

1st Degree Felony - 5 years to 99 years or life

2nd Degree Felony - 2 Years to 20 years

3rd Degree Felony - 2 years to 20 years

Let's see how this plays out in court.

Read the texts. AP sounded like some freak who got off on beating his child. Talking about how he "was the toughest of all his kids" & "he didn't even shed one tear" & "he let it build up to it" & "he's gonna have to come up with a new plan cause he took it too good".

Dude is messed up in the head. Then again, he didn't have the greatest father himself. Probably just replicating what his dad did to him .

Absolutely, sounds like he flew off the handle.  I'm saying it sounds like he definitely went well beyond the line.

4 minutes in time out? That's harsh, I guess I'm a sucker. I can only dish out about 30 seconds

it ain't easy and it doesn't happen often. my daughter has me wrapped around her tiny finger and now i have a baby girl that my 7 year old can teach how to turn daddy into jello.

According to that, AP should probably serve time. I doubt he does, though.

I forgot to add;

CBS says the photos of the boy were taken by a doctor a week after the incident. He whipped a 4 year old with a switch so hard that it left open cuts on his legs that were still bloody a week later. And he thinks it's perfectly okay. Dude has some issues . The boy told police "daddy Peterson" hit him in the face, stuffed leaves in his mouth, has a "whipping room" & a "bunch of belts"

My dad spanked me when I was a kid, probably because it's how he was raised. ( & because I was a demon child) A few times it even left red marks on my legs, but never anything like this. My dad actually later apologized & said he wished he'd never had spanked me when I was a child.

I won't condone someone who chooses to spank their child, but there's a fine line between correcting & abusing.

Do you eat pork? Let Wiccans live?

If so, you're not living by your own rules.

Unquestionably a foolish statement from you yet again.... I'm ushered into the family of Christ via Gentile as you should be. Do you even know what that is? Clearly not as you have made it perfectly clear you know not what you're speaking on. I'm not going to turn this into a battle of words as your quarrelsome ways desire but instead I will use you as a stepping stone to enlighten the other lost people in agreement with you that clearly think as you do.

ACTS 10:9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven openedand something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Corneliusfound out where Simon’s house was and stopped at the gate. 18 They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there.

19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three[a]men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”.......

27 While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. 28 He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.29 So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?”

30 Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me 31 and said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. 32 Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’ 33 So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.”

34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. 37 You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

I have no problem with you, just the fact that your lack of desire for truth has made you like the ones of this world. You raise assumptions of me but indeed you are in question, I'm secure in who I am, who I was, and what I'm to do without the influences of the world. Don't speak scripture if you don't know! And certainly be silent if you yourself don't believe it! Proverbs would do you much good. Open your eyes bro and study! BTW my comment is not in anger towards you, nor is it a attempt to persuade you into Christianity. peace and pray Brethren.
