Cam's stats are starting to dwindle because of the OC change.

That's true but cam is also a qb if he continues his pace he could be the GOAT. Luke very well could be as well but qb will always out weigh defense

The face of the Steelers back in the day was...Swann, Bradshaw, Greene, Harris, Lambert.

Cowboys...Staubach, Dorsett, Pearson, Jones.

49ers...Rice, Montana, Lott.

 

Great teams need multiple faces if they want to be great.

 

It appears we have the possibility of making the jump.  If we do, it will be...Cam, Luke, Benjamin, Davis, Johnson.

I just want to say I only started watching panthers games consistently in 2009 season to start with (I watched a few games with my dad throughout the late 90s and early 2000s but wasn't fan, watched the superbowl playoffs and superbowl when I was in 7th grade). So I'll answer this question as who is face of the franchise 2009 and after, since I don't know much about Panther players prior.

 

I like to think the answer to this question is both Cam and Luke ... because I like the idea of their being two famous leaders of two sides of the team. I think SIGCHI has a good point above me, people get too caught up in the idea that the franchise/team can only have one "face", but there's nothing wrong with giving multiple people that title because they are all extermely important to the team.

 

But if you HAVE to say "who is the one face of the team" then it has to be Cam. He gets way more attention then anyone else, he's the one you always see in commecials (well Luke has at least some stuff I've seen like the Madden commercial), he has a showy/loud personality/persona, and he's usually the one player ESPN talks about (besides Luke I suppose).

Keuch is the Yin to Cam's Yang.

 

Where Cam rubs people wrong, Keuch rubs people right.  Cam has a much bigger appeal to youth because he's a cool cat, which Keuch fits an old school modest mantra.

 

Cam may be more important to winning games week to week, but having both gives us a seriously massive appeal as a team.

 

Let's be honest, the only folks Cam rub the wrong way are 99.9 percent white. Which says to me, some spend way to much time living in the past or watching way to much TV. Luke could be doing the same thing as Cam and many of u will still root for him and not once call him immature. So darn obvious.

In all honesty, Luke has better weapons around him and came on board when this team defense was turning the corner. Cam is still pretty much carrying the Offense. And, make that four seasons in a row. If Panther fans were honest, the majority would say Cam...but I don't expect that from the fans of this team and that is sad.

 

This is how many of u operate: Luke does one good thing, and that's all you remember from the game. Cam does one bad thing and that's all u remember from his game. I only speak the truth.

It's more of an age thing to be fair. My black grandfather complains about the superman celebration. Older folks in general don't understand and just see it as being a jerk.

I think its an age thing as well.. My black grandma watched the game with me and she really doesn't like Cam at all. Half the time cam appears on screen she complains about him being to show-off-ish ..

The panthers have now won 14 of their last 16 games
