MSNBC Morning Joe: Hardy, Panthers and the War on Women

See those uninformed with the NC justice system actually believe he was found guilty and chose a bench trail by choice and appealed. I can understand that line of reasoning but that's not the case here. If only someone with a law degree and understanding of the NC legal system for misdemeanor crimes was able to inform the media the truth. It's a shame these days reporters don't do their due diligence anymore and basically everyone of them are just editorial opinion mongers.

# of games isn't a great way to look at it. bottom line money lost would be because the seasons are so different. when people lose money then they start to understand the message. not trying to hate on your post, just thinkin aloud.

I understand what you're saying. But it differs slightly from the media's discourse, which is wrapped up in suspending players for games. Your observation would be spot on if MSNBC were advocating fining Hardy.

The NFL isn't forcing the Panthers hand. If Jerry let the media sway his judgement before he actually get judged by the jury of his peers, that's on him and only the organization. The media milk things while its hot. Come week 12, nobody will be talking about Hardy assuming his trial comes in the offseason

I think it's only a matter of time until Roger throws Hardy and McDonald under the bus. I hate saying that because they could very well be guilty but he's going to do it. He had 17 senators write to him and believe me they want Hardy out.

The media has done a great job at making me do something I never thought I would be doing: supporting one of my least favorite Panthers ever Greg Hardy. I've trolled this guy on social media before and have made threads about how self-absorbed and annoying he was on social media on here before and now I'm defending him relentlessly.

Getting past letting the legal system play out, I'll say it: I think Nicole made 90% of it up. She's lying.

yeah, it'll be criminal if they fug up and suspend him further setting the precedent to bow to the media regardless of principle when he's likely to beat the charge.

her story doesn't add up, and yes, I know this following on twitter..

Dan Patrick, in the same breath, argues for Hardy's suspension bc he found guilty of slamming his fiancé against a couch of guns while having no comment on the McDonald situation bc he doesn't know anything about it . . .

If you know everyone actually followed the laws, he wouldn't be able to make a decision on them until the Independent Investigation is over and done with. Anything in between is basically akin to jury tampering. Not saying those 17 senators or Goodell follow the law though.

You're forgetting one very important thing: none of them actually give a poo if Hardy is guilty or not.

The N.O.W. is calling for a congressional panel to investigate the epidemic of violence against women in the NFL. Not in society in general, just the fugging NFL.

Let's put this in perspective shall we? Just counting each team's 53 man active roster, There 1,696 players in the NFL. Correct me if I'm wrong but so far only three have been charged with domestic violence this season?

That is a whopping 0.17 6886 of NFL players charged with DV.

Epidemic my ass, crazy ass bitches.

You forgot the practice squad, nfl officials and execs, team fos and stadium maintenance. Its worse than ever!

Didn't they suspend Roethlisberger after charges were dropped? I think they charged him for putting himself in a bad situation.

I think Roger has his own issues to deal with, with the handling of the Ray Rice case. He may be on his way out. They put the rules for 6 games, and indefinite for 2nd offense, which was after btw. He chose a bench trial cause its quicker, and appeal for a jury & hopefully to get it started after the season. It was done that way for a reason. Not only was the judge a female, but she's going up for re-election as well. Most lawyers dont want bench trials, but instead a juror

Fug bending to the media. We would have less integrity if we sat him and disregarded the NC legal process and our original position of letting the legal process play out.

Fug this sensationalist bull, let the guy play until he is judged guilty by a jury of his peers.

that right, once you give in then you lose control and the pc's have you for life.
