Smitty can obviously still play. I think Gettleman knew he was drafting a WR early and simply didn't want Smitty around the young guy. A lot of the things we love about Smitty are also things you don't necessarily want rubbing off on a young guy. Smitty is mad about the release but it is what it is. It lit a fire under his ass again and the Ravens get to benefit.

Yep, I'm happy for Smitty. I hope he has a great year to make a stronger HOF case.

Character goes a long way with me and I dont like divas.. Its why i wasnt a fan of Smitty and why im not a fan of Cam. Keek, CJ, Olsen, Star. Those are players I can respect. Smitty was a loose cannon psychopath and Cam is an attention seeking, camera hog. Cam has been in the league 4 seasons now, can he just mature already instead of acting like a 13 year old on the sidelines?
