Reasons we don't know? The 1st time he was cited I'd call irresponsible. The 2nd time was ignoring liability. That why he was cited.

And "turned on someone" is one thing, allowing them to run loose in my neighborhood (yes MY neighborhood) is another.

The dog "Got Loose"....it was not allowed to run loose. There is a big difference.

Also, if you think having your dog get loose and what Mike Vick did is even remotely comparable, there is truly no help for you.

This thread has deteriorated pretty fast. Getting back on track, with roster spots being so precious this year, I can't see giving one to (he who shall not be named) to be a 2 or 3 play a game type of guy. There are others who will contribute more who need the roster spot unless he can play special teams or substitute on the defensive or offensive lines.

Why cant people just let it go. Were not signing him period.

We don't have the cap space to and if we did i'm pretty sure we wouldn't be signing another quarterback instead of a dt or another offensive lineman.

The fact that you do not care what he does off the field is a prime example of what is wrong with our society.

Gotta agree, he is one of my least favorite people in the NFL. And I never respected his skills, leadership, or anything else. I wouldn't stop supporting the team but I think bringing him here would rank up with the top 5 mistakes the franchise has made. Maybe not Rae Carruth bad but getting up there.

Most panther fans would crucify me for this, but in the last 2 weeks I've had a change of heart and I am now all for us signing Vick to a short contract, 2 year at the best.

Realistically, he would be an excellent weapon for us.

But lets be honest...We are talking about Panther fans here. A fine mixture between wine & cheese, full blood rednecks, and bible toting stone throwers. And 1 out of every 100 there is a real fan. A person that can see both sides of the story. By giving a guy a second chance, can actually improve our team. And I mean...If Steve Smith doesn't get a 2nd/3rd/4th chance. It amazes me how we pick and choose who to give 2nd chances to. Amazing.

I still don't like him, despite the dog stuff he was the face of the ATLANTA FALCONS franchise. I don't like him. Or Reggie Bush. Or Drew Brees. Or Ronde Barber. Or Matt Ryan. They can all suck a big fat one as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I'm still just jaded from when we would play Atlanta and they would have 3 superimposed lines on the field. The yellow first down line. The blue line of scrimmage. And the red "Vick line", that shows har far back behind the line of scrimmage he could run and still scramble for a first down. What a tool. Anyone else remember seeing that on a couple of our games against the Atlanta Vick's?

That being said, I guess whatever the FO feels gives us the best chance to get a god damn ring, I'm all for it. And sooner rather than later. Heart transplant recipients don't tend to live for a decade after the procedure if you get what I'm saying.
