I'll reconsider JR....I'll reconsider

A man with one foot in the grave that gave us the Panthers cries during a speech where he thinks the weaker sex should always be protected.  He cries and it's a whimsical jaunt?

If I could give Jerry pie, it would be in the shape of a sideways 8.

Some (not all of you) should be ashamed.

He may be the last "Gentleman" owner this league has.  Jerry Jones sure doesn't qualify.

Very narcissistic

Yep and I Shouldn't have started that Greg Hardy thread.   Maybe I shouldn't have started this one either, but that thing has a lot of replies and views. So I sort of feel bad for writing it in retrospect and kindly ask the mods to lock it if they could.

What ever is going to happen with Hardy will happen...no matter what is said on here.J.R gave us this team and for that I'm gratefull.Let the man cry and show his emotions.Obviously he feels strongly about this subject. This just reinforces my believe that Hardy is looking at his last 15 or so games in the black and blue.

Not sure I understand what all the furor is about. The court case isn't over- it's a pretty simple fugging concept, really. The league nor the team can discipline someone for their actions until the legal process works itself out.

And I'm not going to say the tears of JR are disingenuous, but this is the guy who orchestrated the player lockout a couple years ago, held up a stupid pie chart and lied to everyone about how much money NFL teams are making, then fielded a team from Dollar General.

Excuse me for sounding very cynical, but while we watch the games for entertainment value, the business of entertainment itself is nasty.

    • Panthers are clearly not worried about cap space so why are we?
    • Other than being the offseason and there isn't much to talk about, why does anyone worry about the cap? We can do whatever we want and still have cap space. You don't think the front office hasn't already figured it out and what they intend to do. Me I am just sitting back and watching. After all my job isn't on the line if we lose. Although at my age we don't have forever if I am going to live to see us play in another superbowl
    • I get the TD's and I pointed it out, but like I said, when Burrow had more than double the TD's than Geno had, I think Higgins increased TDs compared to DK was more a product of Burrow and the Bengals offense than because of him vs DK as WRs. When one of their QB's finished 4th in MVP voting despite missing the playoffs and the other was just traded for a late 3rd round pick and replaced by Sam Darnold, I think that's a tough narrative to brush aside to just look at raw stats as well. Again, swap DK and Higgins last year, do you honestly believe DK wouldn't have put up better stats than Higgins did? Contracts and trade compensation aside, I'm taking DK over Higgins 100 out of 100 times, there is no debate about it for me.
