My bad - the guy before you bumped and I reacted at the last person that posted on this diseased boil of a thread without checking.

No problem. Figured as much. Just wanted to set the record straight :)

 

But agreed. This needs a lock. This thread is like a sieve. We've identified who is Pro-Smith and who is Anti-Smith and neither side will budge, so it's time to just let it die already.

how about we turn this into a Steve Smith vs. Panthers D week 4 stat prediction thread?

I will go first:

If Rivera and McDermott have any sense at all, they will triple team Smith Sr. Not because he is good enough to warrant it, but because Flacco targets him wayyyyu too much as it is, and mix in that the game is against the Panthers, and Smith will be lobbying all week to be the offensive focus. We need a DB, a Safety, and a Linebacker underneath on him and we'll get picks ALL DAY. Think 2005 NFCCG against Seattle.

distraction might be the wrong word, but as long as he was here Cam and Luke wouldn't never really have control of the team. 

 

 

all I know is I am over it and SS needs to get over it too, he got a new job.

For the Panthers sake ,I hope so.

 

I just wanted to see them on the field together and to see what KB could do with SS drawing the D away , it would have been a great 1-2 punch and with Olsen in the mix it could have been nasty. Haters can't see what a Benjamin,Smith ,Cotchery and Olsen lineup would be like.

I get what you are saying but triple team Smith Sr. with a Safety, DB, and Linebacker and Pitta will have 6 TD's by the end of the game.
