Smitty may be even more pissed than we thought (Panthers related)

All I am saying is that KB's accelerated development which stemmed from KB being the obvious favorite in OTA's, Camp, and Preseason would not have happened with Smith here. To think that it would is just silly. Smith would see KB as his competition, not his teammate, as he did with every other receiver on the roster.

It's possible. We'll never know. Smith used to push Colbert to be better, which he never did. Not saying you're wrong, but we never got to see how Smith played with a solid #2 after Muhummad left. After him, all the Panthers gave him was a sloppy, hot #2 in every sense of the word.

Truthfully, i would have loved to see him play alongside KB. Part of the reason I think Smith will be successful in B-Mo is because Torrey Smith draws all the attention and Smitty is a mismatch against a #2 corner.  We could have had that here ( I know, I know, we were paying him too much for him to be a WR2. Again, don't blame him for front office failure.)

The mere suggestion he would have to "handle his own" against a teammate is cause for concern.

You're either naive or don't know football at all. Competition is a huge part of being in this league. People battle with teammates for roster spots to move up the depth chart all summer and all season. You can still be a good teammate, but if you think that they aren't vying for their jobs, you're foolish.

How many have you?

You're not going to win this argument man, just calm down.  Jeremy is closer to the action, players, coaches etc. than we'll ever be.  It's his job, so he kinda knows a poo load more inside stuff than we ever will... unless we have a similar job also.

Plenty of both.

So what you're suggesting is that the Panthers organization---players,coaches and all---were on one accord that Smitty was a nuisance and hindering receivers' development?  The Panthers---one big monolithic culture!  You do know how that sounds, don't you?

Some can erase 10 years of Panthers history in a blink some can't, so yes i am still a big fan of Steve Smith and i f** don't care if someone is disapointed or unhappy with that.

I am still a Panthers fan and i want the Panthers to win week 4 and all the players to play a good game but i will still be very happy if Smitty is scoring a TD or more.

End of the story.

PS : yep this is Jenkins, Harper is hidding. ;)

Same team, same bounty scandal same punishement..
