The Getts decision to cut Steve and draft WR #1 as opposed to OLine looked OK last Sunday.

This Sunday we'll see against a better DLine whether that was the best move.

I hope Getts made the right move.

I love the guy and his passion.  I love to see him light it up but they lost that game.  As long as they lose week 4, it's all gravy.

This surprises you?  Smitty has had a huge chip on his shoulder from the day he came into the league.  First he was just a return specialist and was determined to show that he could play WR in the NFL.  Then he was a WR but he'd always be limited by his size and probably never be much more than a slot receiver, but he was determined to show that he could be an elite WR in the NFL.  Then he was on the wrong side of 30 and smaller WRs are usually impacted by age quicker than bigger receivers, but he was determined to show that he could continue to produce at a high level.  Then Gettleman came to town and gave him the boot, but now he's determined to prove Gettleman wrong and show him that he fuged up releasing him.  Just Smitty being Smitty.  I wish him all the best except for that one game against us.  Hell, I wouldn't even be mad if he had a big game on that day as long as we still get the W.

Smitty will always be my favorite, im very scared at how well he will play against us. One person cant beat us though, it takes a team, and we are the better team.
