Question: How do you feel? Were you 100 percent out there today?

Foster: I'm just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be and I'm gonna work hard at doing that.

Q: Physically, you're good to go?

Q: Arian, can you tell us exactly what kept you out, what was going on?

Q: What was physically wrong with you?

Q: What did it mean to be able to get back out here and start working, Arian? And get back with your teammates?

F: You know, being with your teammates and being the best teammate you can be is what you strive to do. So that's what I'm out here for.

Q: Your teammates talk about how they want to see you out here. They know what you mean to this ballclub. What does all that stuff mean to you, Arian?

F: Yeah, man. I'm just (trying) to be the best teammate you can be, man. Just work hard at doing that every single day. That's what we're out here trying to do.

Q: Is your body starting to break down?

Q: How's that coming, Arian, your progress with being a better teammate?

Q: What was the offseason like, working at your brother's facility, different than other previous seasons?

why is this kid always catching isn for being himself? Johnny Manziel can give the finger to his opponents and those in the media brushes it off as him just being Manziel. Luck can slam his helmet on the bench in view of the camera and not one person in the media mentions it the next day. Not of them are attacking their behavior or labeling their action "immature." But every isn this Cam does is seen as immature by those in the media who don't seem to find anything wrong with anything Luck and Johnny Manziel does. Why is that?

I don't think you can interpret Cam had a bad practice from his demeanor, though I have no idea why he called Suh "Donkey Kong". Lol.

 

Nonetheless, Cam smiled sometimes, and seemed no different than how he is many times during these interviews.

 

Many athletes give generic, repeated answers, especially when they don't want to answer detailed questions.

 

Seemed to me, he's just trying to prepare, take care of his business, since this was his first day of practice for an upcoming big game.

I don't think this says ANYTHING negative about Cam, the locker room, or anything like that. If you go to the Panthers FB page (or listen to the casual fans in the area...) there are plenty jumping on the "Bench Cam, start Anderson" bandwagon. You HAVE to know that Cam has heard about it. Probably pissed him off a bit. Now, I think he's also mature enough to shake it off fairly quickly.

Add that with the guarantee that he expected ALL the off-the-field questions to come after having to sit out Sunday and him running into the huddle. I think this is exactly what the first page of this thread called it: a masterful job at trolling. I'm sure at least SOME of the team knew that he was planning this. If not, we'll hear about it later in the week from Rivera.

He's playing on the guy's name not to insult him (necessarily, anyway), but to say "hey, I'm not mad or upset, I just don't feel like dealing with BS questions from the media when they should be asking me about the game coming up".

I've got know problem with it. He didn't respond that way to all the questions, just to the ones about his injury/contract. It's not his fault the reporters kept asking the same questions over and over.
