Lord knows I'm not one to preach Florio's word as gospel truth, but when it comes to the law I'll defer to his experience...

The league’s new stance regarding domestic violence creates a delicate situation for the NFL and its team, a topic I plan to address in a separate item.  For now, NFL teams will continue to look for ways to justify keeping star players accused of wrongdoing.  Only the men at the bottom of the roster will find themselves on the outside looking in, if/when they get in trouble.
