Bottom line is the NFL and media should wait until his jury trial before destroying his character. If he's found guilty then goodbye Kraken if he's found innocent then no harm done.

 

And that's the biggest thing.  If you are going to say Hardy should be suspended, say he should be suspended just because he has an ongoing case and people may not be comfortable with him on the field.  Don't just keep saying he was found guilty in a trial and that his due process is done etc etc.  If Hardy is found not guilty in his jury trial, would the media apologize to him?  Nope.  That is just plain wrong because Hardy is already looked at as a monster right now due to the attention.

Short of the prosecution getting someone on tape declaring it's their intention to destroy hardy's character you cannot.

The modern media would have great lynch mob members back in the day.

 

The Ferguson poo should have told you all you needed to know about the modern media.    No one knowing what really happened,  some witnesses saying the cop shot him in the back,  some saying the cops story was right.

 

Media kept fanning the flames,  acting like that cop was the devil that should be lynched up..  all while showing a picture of the man that was shot,  when he was 13 years old....  describing him as a "Gentle Giant"  "Never would hurt nobody".  

 

 

New media doesn't just report news,  they sway things,  they get people riled up by only posting half truths, whatever it takes to get higher ratings and more page clicks.

I forgot all about that, and it wasn't just Kaep, but two other players I believe.  Did she drop her case?

 

Woman rights wasn't that big a deal back then,  so,  while it got quite a bit of media attention... the flame wasn't fanned nearly as much as it would be now.  I believe the cops found out she was lying.

Hardy will be safe until his jury trial. The NFL will not risk suspending Hardy only to be found not guilty.
