I seem to recall Goodall saying something yesterday like this: "To my knowledge no one from the NFL corporate offices viewed this video prior to today".

Someone will need to definitively prove he had prior knowledge that contradicts that statement before he resigns.

A dozen members of Congress are demanding that the NFL be as transparent as possibl e with the failures of the Ray Rice domestic violence investigation.

USA Today writes that 12 House of Representative members, all Democrats, sent a letter to commissioner Roger Goodell asking for the "the highest level of transparency" in regard to the investigation.

Wrote the members of the Judiciary Committee: "We are interested in the manner in which these leagues handle incidence of domestic violence by their players, owners and other employees."

Scumbag politicians lecturing others about how to behave when they have nothing anyone would classify as anything more than dishonest or unpopular is quite rich. I would agree with this is in most public forums the difference is sports media is really dominated by one company and that's ESPN so they basically make their own rules without real competition to push them and since a lot of other major sports are in the off season they wont go away so quickly.

True. I had to laugh this morning watching ESPN. They were breaking down Bob Griffin and the ESPN personality said, and I paraphrase, "Just 2 years ago Griffin (they used the RG acronym of course) could do no wrong and was all over the place as the savior of the Redskins..."
