Could just be Rivera now, but doubtful. somethings up. Could be treatment or he doesn't even know himself. Rivera was getting pretty snippy with reporters about cams injury last week.

Bench trial.  What part of that do people not get?  So let's do that with every case in America.  Have only one person decide guilty or not guilty.

 

Exactly, there was a post by a law student on another thread that pretty much explains that he could have waived the bench trial and gone straight to a jury trial.   Choose to believe that the Judge would see through her BS and find him not guilty.  Well it didn't work out like he planned and now will get a jury trial.  Also it should be noted that Hardy is not on the domestic violence data base yet. 

 

On a side note.  This is now international.  I work in Kuwait and today on CNN international ( I think) they had a story about Ray Rice and right next to his picture was Greg Hardy wearing his Panther uniform.   So as far as the world knows Hardy is exactly like Ray Rice.  What a crock.

Greg Hardy opted for a bench trial.

Sorry kiddo, still guilty and due process accounted for.

Perhaps in your mind that is the case but in the real world it's not that cut and dry. Opting for the bench proceeding first does not mean he waived his right to a trial by a jury of his peers. That might be convenient for your argument but it's fiction.

Not like reality = Make poo up.

And for the record if he is actually found guilty by a jury of his peers, then I hope he is punished to the max.
