"They talking about us" - Lions forum sweep

So after a week of reading hillbilly insults and wild predictions on the Tampa forums I've finally managed to stop laughing at the biblical comedown that they've fallen into:

On to the Lions, I thought I'd post some of the best quotes and threads from their forums so far. On the whole there's a mixture of tempered optimism after the Giants blow out, healthy respect of our defense + new WRs and some "hilarious" reaction to SCPs gameweek post.

The Den - Already some Huddlers (Maulclaw, Razor) representing here.

This joker:

Detroit lions forum: Not much posted yet but great thread title and SCPs post shows up to cause equal amounts of anger and respect

As expected, nothing on the official forum apart from:

Hope he enjoys his first game and the trip to BofA.

Yea the smack post was decent in general, but completely uninformed. What sent it over the top was the FEMA reference. My first thought also was he must think they're playing the Saints this week.

Hurricane Irene hit North Carolina in late 2011 and destroyed thousands of homes in North Carolina. Google "fema trailers north carolina irene" and you get tons of 2012 articles about North Carolina residents still living in FEMA trailers

Hurricane Floyd hit North Carolina in 1999, and FEMA spent hundreds of millions of dollars on North Carolina, including thousands of FEMA trailers

Hurricane Fran hit North Carolina in 1996 and FEMA spent hundreds of millions of dollars on North Carolina

Alma Knight looks from the porch of her hurricane-damaged home past the FEMA trailer where she and her husband are living in Stumpy Point, N.C., on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012. Her house is still being rebuilt months after Hurricane Irene.
