Hardy gets to appeal.  Hardy is not a threat to win a Rhodes Scholarship at any point in his life.  The re-trial happens after the season is over, and he won't be a Panther next season anyway, guilty or not.  Just the Disturber trying to stir up poo, nothing more, nothing less.

I seen that too.  What does that have to do with anything?  We don't even play them this year and they aren't doing anything of note to where the observer has any reason to report.  Yeah, they are fishing for editorial prizes and commendations.

CO trying to make it into a "if you cheer for Hardy,  then you support abusing women" kind of thing, it looks to me anyway.        Screw that, I'm not letting the Rice situation poison my opinion of Hardy until we know more of the situation.     Rice knocked his gf out.....hardy called 911 and claimed his gf was basically tearing his place up and throwing stuff at him...and she was coked up...   I'm more inclined to believe he was restraining her,  until more proof comes out.

Just so everyone is prepared, today is just the beginning.  By tomorrow, every sports outlet is going to be calling for Hardy's head.  Jerry and Co. better be prepared to face the wrath of the people if they continue to let Hardy play.  Although don't be surprised if Goodell suspends Hardy himself in an attempt to save his job.

I'm still unsure why Goodell broke his own new rule............1st offense  6 game suspension,  2nd offense at least a 1yr ban.       What Rice did was horrible...  but we already knew it was horrible... why add the 1st offense 6 game suspension,  if he was just going to bypass it anyway and go straight for the 1yr ban?

 

 

Is Rice a special case,  since he was punished before the new domestic violence policy?  Does the video of the first incident count as a second incident?      So confusing.. my little mind can't handle it.        Why not just ban him indefinitely to begin with?
