If the Observer thinks that fine.

If JR does it, fine.

But they should of done earlier. Doing it now IMO is showing you are punishing Hardy bc if actions of others as well as his own.

If you thought his case deserved to go through the entire run of the legal system....why should Ray Rice hitting a female like a man change things?

Tough call. IMO. But if they do that then everyone should calm down on Roger Goodell should be fired....bc really people should then jump on Richarson and everyone else too who acts differently now on old decisions

This logic makes no sense. A guy got caught on camera committing an atrocious act of violence against a female. Therefore we should crucify anyone who has been accused of similar acts without completing the judicial process because we feel guy-A got away with something.

The judicial system isn't perfect by any means but it's what we have and we can't arbitrarily choose when to accept/reject its decisions.

This is the epitome of knee jerk reactions. Justice is blind and it has to be patient as well. Hasty decisions by emotional people are rarely the right ones.

I understand where you're coming from.  I agree Hardy can't be guilty because of Ray Rice.

 

But....

 

It's more about the NFL covering up the fact they saw the video and what the implications are as it stems throughout the league.  If they covered up for the Ravens what else is the NFL and organizations covering up? 

 

It's wrong to indict the Panthers of this, however the way the events came out it just makes you wonder if their is a league wide conspiracy to cover up wrong doings off the field. 

 

Not saying the Panthers should suspend Hardy...but if they're sitting on negative information despite what the legal process says, they should suspend him.  I don't think they are, but the way Goodell handled Ray Rice undermines the credibility of the entire NFL and that's very unfortunate for the Panthers.

I think there's a decent chance this goes national. There will probably be high-profile people calling on Goodell and Richardson to suspend Greg Hardy in-season and to not even wait for a jury trial. That is, of course, if national media remembers that the Panthers exist beyond Cam and OUR VAUNTED 2013 RECEIVERS THAT WE LOST!!11!111
