Law of averages tells us Johnson is due a ho-hum game.  He cannot maintain that pace

If we extrapolate in every instance, I guy who hits 2 dingers on opening day will shatter the record with 324 home runs in a single season.

 

Calvin is the best but he won't duplicate Monday Night's performance.

you don't play averages here. you can't create a black swan.

 

you reverse the the trend of the atypical way to play d. make the Lions get out of THEIR comfort zone. you hide the pressure so Stafford can't sling it.

 

i say the Panthers have to score at least 3 times on on offense and keep the ball 28 mins plus. but that's me.

I don't think people realize how good Melvin White is becoming. Go back and watch how he worked Vincent Jackson. Next up Megatron. Believe in White. He will surprise. His Football IQ with angles, timing, routes, and breaks is amazing. If he slows down Megatron and pushes him off his route like he did Vincent Jackson, Stafford will be off his timing with the DL in his face.

 

Melvin White forcing Jackson to flatten his route took him into Thomas Davis and led to an incomplete pass. Melvin White frustrated Vincent Jackson early and often. Not saying White will dominate, but he does not get the credit for everything he is doing and the rate at which he is progressing as a starter.

I get what you're saying but Calvin Johnson is in another stratosphere compared to vjax. The size, quickness and strength and athletic ability is just not human.

I will say this again, we will get in matts face the entire game but my worry is Matt is looking elusive as hell in the pocket and don't let people fool you he is an athlete. We gotta be balls to the wall or they will eat us alive.

More talented receivers and quarterbacks have fallen to Ron Rivera when he was a defensive mastermind at Chicago and San Diego. What makes you think he has changed one bit. :) Megatron as great as how disciplined the panther defense will be on Sunday.

If he is dangerous please tell me how many superbowls Detroit has won lol
