Calvin is only stopped and slowed by injuries. He's really uncoverable... Even with 3 DBs. Rolling coverages and triple teaming him only means your picking your poison. Thus as the OP says Tate, Broyles, Bush etc will have a great game.

Expect CJ to have a good game if he stays healthy. The key is to not worry about CJ because the Lions have a ton of weapons on offense.

If your front 7 can stop the WR/RB Screens, and CJ tears it up I still think CAR wins.

The key is in your front 7 which you have a great front 7. Possibly the best in the NFL.

They must apply pressure creat turnovers and cause mistakes to be made by Stafford.

They must slow the run game of a Bell and Bush.

They must stop or limit the WR/RB screens.

Don't worry about Calvin he's going to get his catches if he's healthy.

The Key to Lions is also in their front 7. The Lions DL is very good and their LBer corp is pretty good as well.

The Lions are a talented team but they must eliminate the mistakes and not have turnovers.

The Lions safeties are above average but their CBs are below.

The weak play at CB means Cam Newton should make some big plays. The Lions always give up a big passing play or two.

The Lions run defense and 3rd down efficiency are sone of the best in the NFL so if CAR wants to win they will probably need to pass to do it.

Under Caldwell they look improved and more disciplined. Their still having a few too many penalties though.

This should be a good test for both teams and I think there fairly evenly matched.

Here's to a injury free game and may the best team win.

I agree.

Great post.

CJ is too good of a player. He'll find his way to make plays. Stop the other guys and Car might win. If not, edge to Det.

...and statements like this are the main reason I hate fantasy football. Taking something as awesome as NFL football and turning it into something dorky.

Pie times a million.  Friends are always wanting me to get in their leagues.  I am like I don't need to have a fantasy draft to watch a lot of football every year.  Shite reminds me of playing friends on Madden and then realizing one quarter into the game that the best player at all positions in the league are on that team.  Nonsense to me.
