I didn't know Gross went after him after he hit Smitty. Wish there was video of that somewhere. Hated his guts since the Smitty hit, but I've done a 180 on this dude. Very intelligent, articulate team first guy. I think we have ourselves a leader in the team. Last hard nosed safety we had was Minter. He will fugg people up for us this year :-)

I Hate him bc he is slow and broke down... I could give a crap about what he hit late in the past. I welcomed Mike Mitchell bc this team needs that enforcer... But Mike has athletic ability and youth... Just not 5 mil a year worth of worth.

That late hit on S. Smith was the reason I will always remember Roman Harper. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe that was the same season the bounty gate scandal was underway.

By the way Steve Smith remembers too, and he wasn't happy either.

Actually, Steve didn't get pissed off at the late hit. In fact, he jumped right up and spinned the ball.

He jumped in when his team members came to his aid and more Saints players came to counter our players.

i didn't think i'd be so easily swayed. half an hour of interview and i came away genuinely liking the guy. i think he'll be good for the team

 

agreed..........a good vet presence on the back end.

I like what he said about the team being tight, with no bad apples. If Gman has done another good job of plugging the holes with vets, we might just make another playoff run.
