Tajh Boyd coming to Charlotte. .?

Boyd doesn't have an 11 for 30 playoff disaster under his belt. I would much rather have Boyd than Webb.

You would rather have a rookie who has been released by the team that took him than a guy who has been in our system for months, worked hard, been a starter in the league, and can play multiple positions on the field?

Um, ok.

If I had to choose yes.

I do not believe that Joe Webb has the mental makeup to be a backup in the NFL. Just because he was at camp doesn't mean he should be given preference over someone who was released ala King/McNutt v. Stephen Hill. Being able to make the team as a QB should be based on the merits of QB alone, not what he can do at other positions.

Tahj Boyd was released by the Jets. The Jets have no clue as to what they are doing with developing Quarterbacks and I don't think they ever will.

That's just my opinion  :)

Boyd is in Buffalo today. I think it was just a bad rumor. Unless they are trading Anderson or Webb (which is unlikely) then there is no point in bringing him in. And no way I want Boyd over Webb in a heads up comparison. No way in hell.

Webb made the team based on his merits as a QB for the Panthers. Did you not watch ANY preseason games?

Boyd only saw significant action in the Jets final preseason game. He failed to beat out Matt Simms who was also cut by the Jets.

The Vikings failed to prepare Webb for that infamous playoff game against the Pack. He showed some ability in previous games before that.

Boyd is purely PS material right now. I'm not cutting anyone for him.
