Cut or Keep Greg Hardy

Its really not hard to understand. She claimed Hardy almost killed her, yet she had no other injuries other than light bruising. Right, so a man 3 times your size beat you to within an inch of your life and all you have to show for it are slight bruises? That, is what we call BULLS**T. If what she said were in any way true, she'd have FAR more to show for it.

People are trying to say she'd have much more than light bruises if a man the size of Greg Hardy almost killed her. Its clear she's lying and that will all come out in the appeals process.

As for this particular thread, no, theres no excuse for releasing a player before they've gone through the court system. Hardy's is still ongoing. After Hardy's case has been settled, then make your decision, but not before. You cant make a decision because a few morons with too much time on their hands writes you a mean email claiming they want X player fired for X reason.

It's true she could just be a crazy bitch that did it to herself just to be a bitch.

Hardy lied about the guns in his apartment, had no valid witnesses to corroborate his story while even a defense witness corroborated Holder's story (the one who took a picture of the guns Hardy claimed weren't out).

I'm no lawyer though. The only thing certain is Hardy and Holder are both very trashy people and whether or not Hardy is found guilty or suspended, the Panthers would be wise to not consider bringing him back.

I don't remember him lying about his guns at all.  I don't recall one thing he's said being even remotely questionable so far.  And I think you have your situations backwards.  Holder has no credible witnesses backing up her story.  Hardy has a room full of witnesses and even Holder's friend on his side.

If he is found guilty his career will be in flux. Many teams won't take the public relations hit by bringing him on board. Some will, but at a greatly reduced contract full of provisions. His endorsements will be nil and he will lose millons of dollars over his career. He wanted "to be paid" and made that known. He may be S.O.L in the long run.

The judge said she ruled with Holder because stories didn't match for Hardy. The gun thing seemed big for her. Holder said she was held down on top of guns, Hardy said no guns were out, a defense witness had a photo on her phone of guns on the couch, when Hardy was asked about the phot he said they were out earlier then put away, something he hadn't mentioned prior.

Again, will that be enough to sway a jury to domestic violence? I have no idea, but that seemed to swing the Judge's opinion.

I don't know if it's been discussed or not, but Hardy can only be suspended for 2 games, not 6. At the time of his incident the 6 game ban hadnot been instated yet, and can't be retroactive.

The thing working against Hardy is that his and SF guy Mcdonald? Are going to be the next ones up, and with the microscope on, what will be done to make up for the Ray debacle. What's more, when details come out that she was "thrown onto a bed or couch" covered in assault weapons try will surely call for his head. I'm hoping he can just get continuances until after the season.
