Cut or Keep Greg Hardy

Her story: Hardy strangled her to the point where she wanted to die, threw her onto a bed full hard metal weapons, drug her around and roughed her up, and slammed a toilet lid down on her arm. He then called the police and told her she was going to jail, so she fled the scene. She has a little bruise on her arm.

Hardy's story: She snuck off and started snorting cocaine. Once she was lit and angry, she then decided to rejoin the party. They had an argument, she flew off the handle and hit Hardy in the head with her shoe. Hardy's friend grabbed her and she went berserk trying to break free. Hardy called 911. The women fled the scene before the cops arrived. She has a little bruise on her arm, and big whopping story.

If an NFL player threw you into a bed full of weapons, slammed a toilet lid on your arm, man handled you, and strangled you within an inch of your life, then you would have a lot much than a bruise on your arm.

Ultimately the court will decide, but I like Hardy's chances of winning the case. The hard evidence doesn't support that woman's story at all.

I believe Hardy. Her story sounds so bizarre that it is to the point of being unbelievable.

We aren't cut Greg Hardy. He hasnt been convicted of anything. That isnt how it works in this country.

We may let Hardy walk at season's end, but even then, that may have more to do with his financial demands, our depth at DE, and is supported further by the Johnson restructure pushing money back.

in front of a jury if his pears?

With hearsay as rhe only evidence?

In front of a judge whose conviction holds full sway throughout the country unless overturned during the voluntary appeals process.

If Hardy wanted a jury trial initially, he or his lawyer could have easily asked for one.

He has been convicted of two counts of assault on a female and communicating threats. I fail to see what's confusing here.

Greg is gone by season's end and if the jury trial happens in Nov and his conviction is not overturned, he will be gone sooner.

I've been told by a judge I was guilty for something that I wasn't. The judge thought there was enough of something that he requested further investigation. Judge was full of poo.

didn't change the fact i was innocent of allegations much worse than what Hardy is facing.

Luckily when the case was presented to the DA''s office after further investigation, it was dismissed over not enough evidence to support what the initial allegations.

When the only evidence is hearsay, the judge can decide anything they he or she wants.

Doesn't make it so.

I'm not going to prejudge Hardy just cause a judge did so over hearsay.

I'll wait until there is a trail by jury.

The Panthers will.

The league will too.

Keep beating your drum on your soap box though.

The facts are extremely blurry in Hardy's case -- a lot of "he said, she said."

Sadly, I'm sure the reality of the situation is somewhere in between the two accounts. I'm sure Hardy did some regrettable things, and I'm sure Holder did too.

What I don't understand is the "Hardy would have knocked her out if he assaulted her, nothing to see here..." Really? You've got to be kidding me.

Its really not hard to understand. She claimed Hardy almost killed her, yet she had no other injuries other than light bruising. Right, so a man 3 times your size beat you to within an inch of your life and all you have to show for it are slight bruises? That, is what we call BULLS**T. If what she said were in any way true, she'd have FAR more to show for it.

People are trying to say she'd have much more than light bruises if a man the size of Greg Hardy almost killed her. Its clear she's lying and that will all come out in the appeals process.

As for this particular thread, no, theres no excuse for releasing a player before they've gone through the court system. Hardy's is still ongoing. After Hardy's case has been settled, then make your decision, but not before. You cant make a decision because a few morons with too much time on their hands writes you a mean email claiming they want X player fired for X reason.

Some women a drawn to physically and or psychologically abusive men. They stay in the relationship because they want to be in the relationship, and they want to be abused. Some women enjoy being abused.

You are complete garbage. You have no value as a human being.
