Cut or Keep Greg Hardy

Are we talking about a ten year old minor or a 17 year old one who was going to be 18 in 3 months?

If you're going to use a counterpoint example like this, you're going to have to elaborate a little further.

15 at the time of the crime I believe. Hit her several times resulting in her landing on a chair a chair and breaking her back. But if your line between child and adult gets murky at 17, does that not speak more to my argument, which is a constant size and strength advatage?

There are fathers daughters mothers who are trying to justify the left hook today. Get out of the fairy tale world.

Do you still leave your front door open at night??

Do you leave your car door open or locked when parked in the community?

Are you one of them? And no I don't leave my doors unlocked, but that don't change the fact that I have faith in society as a whole.

Two things ...

1) Rarely are domestic disputes and acts of violence caught on camera, so I hope we don't have to rely on them to believe someone is guilty or to get convictions

2) Victims of domestic abuse do not enjoy being abused

Victims also have to do there part to help justice be served as well.

I can't help a person if they are not willing to help themselves.

Let's ask this...if the trial is in November and he his found guilty..do they cut him then with the season 3/4 over and cut their loses? He is a FA anyway. I doubt they wil resign him.I would think they would cut him that same day.

Not really since in most states you can be charged as an adult for violent crimes even if you are 15

I have faith in society but I know I live in a fraud world. Simple and plain I live of the world not just in it.

No I feel like Ray is a scumbag. But if his now wife is willing to help her attacker and not the people trying to help her. It's a losing process.

And there are differences between one man to another. Some are large and some are tiny. What if the woman was bigger.

Did anyone ever take the time and look into the size of the guys Smitty hit? If the wrongness level of the act hinges on size deferential you'd think that would have been brought up.  What about when the news broke that Beason hit a dude in a bar, I imagine there aren't many guys out there bigger than Beason. At the time size didn't matter. Imo all assault should be treated the same by the league regardless of sex.

Beason>>>>>>>>>>Average guy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.average woman

I hope and pray that Greg Hardy learns well from what is turning out to be an expensive education. You must be careful who you let into your world. This goes especially true when you are a young rising celebrity athlete who is on the verge of a big payday. I just get the feeling that that neither Greg for reasons which shaped him in his life, nor this woman are particularly stable emotionally. They happened to meet, got into what for Greg was more a sexual fling than a true love affair, and perhaps Greg was not viewing the relationship the way she wanted it to go so she struck back in a way which would fix his ass...but good. That is just my gut feeling.

It was stated that Greg sent her home from the Pro Bowl when she thought she was also going to the Super Bowl with him. I think that is when Greg broke it off with her. Then he signed his franchise tag.

If you read the whole case, she was hanging around Greg to cause trouble ("He aint seen crazy yet") and to get him to pay her bills. She is trying to get her share of the 13 million.

The average american male is 5 8. The average american female is 5 3. The average american male is 190. The average american female is 140. There are obviously exceptions, but to act like it's even across the board is silly. Men are more dangerous, and to act like what transpired between Ray Rice and his fiancee constitutes a "fair fight" because she threw a slap on the way to the elevator is silly.

I see you point on victim cooperation. Lets just agree to disagree on the rest, and go talk about something we both hopefully agree with the Panthers going 2-0.
