Good to know.....it's over ten years though.  Wonder how they plan on budgeting the improvements over ten years.  Do they do it is one whack?  Or do they do a little here and a little there?

The majority of the funds is over 5 years. 27 million I think. The rest is just for regular mainence.

They'll probably spend all that 27mil this next off season.  To bad they couldn't push this through earlier so work could be done before the opener.

I thought the same thing. Apparently,  they want to install a HD quality scoreboard, add 500 additional TV monitors, apparently a lot of technology improvements are in the plans.  Plus, an extra 600 seats. I guess the arena ranks near the bottom in lower level seats available.

 

I'd imagine they'd have to get more seats if they want to attract bigger events like the all-star game.

The Hornets are pitching in 6 million I think to upgrade the locker room. Also some of the money not sure from who will be used to upgrade the suites.

Have you not upgraded your tv's in the last 10 years ? Technology has come a long way since then.
