Just keep them rotating. I saw like 10 different OLs yesterday. We only gave up 1 sack. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Man this is gonna sting. But...I gotta agree with Ol' Chucky here. It is the Panthers philosophy to keep players fresh. As long as the on field play doesn't suffer, we may see this for the foreseeable future.

Not sure we will demote our back-up center. Will be interesting to see who does get cut for Hill. Cut one of the Practice Squad guys and move...hellz, I don't know.

I guess it is a good sign that we don't really have any clear cut options to cut for Hill. Means our roster is jamb packed with talent.

The line really played unbelievably well honestly. Just seem them fall forward was great. Deangelo looked better than he has in a long time, you could hear the contact on TV. He was running hard. 

 

It's a shame that his best effort came back on a holding call.

Impossible, SuperJTheGreat keeps saying that Bersin, will/has to be cut in order for Hill to get on the team, so I don't believe in your voodoo magic!

Have to agree with Carolina Chuck about rotating the O-lineman being a superior concept. Keeps everyone fresh and builds experienced linemen out of rooks. Man I have a great feeling about the way this team is being run. I only see one fault which I hope the coaches see and correct. It is this, we must not take our foot off the gas late in games and lose momentum defending a lead rather than attacking all game. Isn't it an obvious and well known football fact?. An aggressive attacking offense can ironically have a similar  effect as a great defense!

 

Got that feeling too.  Seemed we were relying on our defense to keep them shut out instead of adding more points.  Especially after the missed opportunity on Olsen. 

 

Rivera said they would look at the mistakes on defense and get them corrected but he needs to looking into his own mirror and make sure he reminds himself to keep the pedal to the metal.

Usually rotating players in and out on the OL is NOT a successful recipe.....OL play is all about consistency, familiarity, and a unit gelling as one.  But....it damn sure worked on Sunday.  So, what the hell.

That's contrary to conventional wisdom about the o-line but ... what the heck.  Wonder if that is the plan or they just did it because of the heat / humidity in Tampa.

I don't know. It worked Sunday but I'm sure that's not the plan for the season.

Yeah but if you think about ALL of them being the unit, and they just swap in and out with each other then it doesn't seem so weird. If they do continue to use this strategy then they will slowly begin to get used to it right?

You could look at it as the whole offensive line (group) being familiar with each other enough that if someone went down the machine would keep rolling.
