Yeah...this is gonna be a tough game.  I'm glad it's at home.   We need to be LOUD.  We'll need to slow this game down and and keep their defense on the field.  Good news is we beat NYG 34-0 last season.  Hopefully Detroit drinks the coolaid this week.

If they didn't have the NYG name and the fact they did win the 2011 SB there would be mentioned as a bottom feeder based on the current talent level on this team

We almost beat Detroit in Detroit in 2011 when we had the worst D in the league and a year they went to the playoffs. We will handle them in Charlotte

Well the Lions LBs and secondary are very small. Way too many match up issues for them with Olsen and Benjamin.

 

The Lions OL is on skates against a less than average DL. Especially at the guard positions. Panthers DL is going to feast on that OL.

 

Lions rely on long developing plays. Not something they can do against the Panthers D.

 

Panthers offense will control the game.

 

Panthers DL must pressure Stafford and collapse the pocket quickly. Kuechly v Stafford. Luke is going to have the advantage there as he will be able to counter Stafford's call and throw him off his rhythm.

 

Be very physical with Calvin Johnson like they did with Vincent Jackson. Melvin White will wear Calvin Johnson down physically. Calvin Johnson is great, but when it comes to being physical he is average.

 

Advantage Panthers since I like Luke over Stafford in the chess match, and the Lions D is outmatched by the Panthers offensive personnel.

Other than Cleveland at home, I don't think there is a single game on the schedule I would call a win right now. Schedule is tough but likewise other than GB and NO on the road, I feel pretty good about the Panthers.

Detroit is going to come in with a lot of confidence and a lot of firepower on offense. Will be a good test.

I think Stafford will make mistakes if pressured but if they don't their receivers will make it a long day for the DBs
