Along thought about yesterday's game, I honestly loved it!

My favorite part of this game was the way the offense methodically marched down the field and hogged the time of possession.

THIS, has showed me how well this team has gelled, and how dangerous this team will be. Even more so on the road, against a division rival, with a backup QB.

Often in this league, the team with the most exciting and high scoring offense has what seems to be a poor defense. Sometimes the defense is not very good, and sometimes the defense is just too gassed to compete after the offense has scored in less than five gameclock minutes.

Other teams put up as many points as possibly as fast as they can, only for the other team to make a fierce comeback, see Browns vs Steelers, Falcons vs Saints, Broncos vs Colts. Sure, essentially the Buc's did the same thing to us, making a comeback of sorts, but it was on a very small scale, only one touchdown and the Panther defense continued to stay much more fresh than a defense that had been trying to stop an offense who has scored 21 unanswered points in the second half.

With a defense like ours, the offense is in great position to not have to take too many unneeded risks.

Going forward, I would like to see this team play rope-a-dope with its opponents, playing somewhat vanilla offense in the first half, hogging the ball and slowly moving down field, all the while viciously holding off opposing teams offenses. Then, in the second half, lay the points on thick and let that defense continue to lay the hammer down!

If it was that easy, everybody would do it.
