QB Trade Speculation (Tin Foil Hats Needed)

There's nothing "average" about Newton's first 3 years in the league.

2011: 15th NFL passer rating, 15th total QBR

2012: 15th NFL passer rating, 16th total QBR

2013: 16th NFL passer rating. 14th total QBR

Newton's average per carry on designed runs last year was 4.0...almost exactly the team average.

While there is no doubt he makes plays on undesigned runs (scrambles) the reality is that he averaged 21.8 yards per game on those scrambles...certainly more than most quarterbacks, but not exactly earth shattering...

He also had an extremely high 8.3% sack percentage and was at fault on nearly 20% of the total Panther sacks last season.

There is a give and take here...he gives you some things...he takes away some things...

Compare his first 3 years to other QB's first 3 years. I know you're just trolling, it's what you do, but I might as well put you to work doing research while you're at it knowing full well you'll only cherry pick the stats you want to present. Off you go now.

For his next act, he wil try convincing all of us that Andrew Luck is the second coming of Jesus Fugging Christ and that Colin Kaepernick is the next Joe Montana.  The guy just loves pushing the Huddles buttons.
