QB Trade Speculation (Tin Foil Hats Needed)

Look at it this way, if we lose Cam, DA is not gonna save our season. He can win some games, but can he get us into and deep into the playoffs?

Really!! So you can see the future? DA seems pretty able to lead this team and give us a winning season at that. The guy played solid on Sunday. Stop thinking about what he did in the past. See what he doing now and base it off that. I think DA can lead this team to a playoff if Cam was to go down for a long period of time.

What would you be saying if that Bucs' DB could actually catch?  DA threw a game losing pick six, that DB fortunately just didn't catch it.

Hell, even the TD to KB, the DB was in a better position to catch that ball than KB.  KB is just a fuging BEAST.

I'm not trying to knock DA.  He played about as well as you can hope for a backup QB.  But, down the stretch, he showed why he's just that - a backup QB.  I'm glad we have him as our backup, but if something happened that he's our starter, we're probably not going to the playoffs.

Dude you can say it about any QB. Even Brees has had those types of moments in his career. What could of should of but never was. It didn't happen so stop using it as an excuse. DA gives us a chance to have a winning season if Cam was to go down. I trust DA and I trust he can get the job done. He prove it on Sunday. So stop been so neg about him.

I wouldn't mention it if he also didn't miss Olsen wide open for a TD that would've also put the game away.  DA had two chances to put the game away in the 4th quarter and missed badly on both of them.  Both were easy throws to a big, wide open target.

Like I said, he played about as well as you can hope for out of a backup, but he really left the door open for the Bucs down the stretch and very nearly threw the game away.  To ignore that is simply not being honest.

For about 52 minutes, DA looked great.  In those last 8 minutes though... oh wee mayne.

The Panthers need three QBs on the roster this year because the Offensive Line isn't rated as high as prior years past.  If you expect your QB to take more hits, you better have a decent replacement if he gets injured.  By having Joe Webb and Derek Anderson, Carolina could still be competitive if anything were to happen to Cam.  The only trade that would make any sense would be if someone sent a 4th round pick or higher(1% chance).  A player for player trade is possible, but highly unlikely.
