Luke happy... but not satisfied

Oh, he wasn't satisfied yesterday.

 

After I saw him last night though- satisfaction complete.

 

I told him to call me when he runs into this "unsatisfied" or "pent up aggression issue" again, I can work it out easily.

 

 

On a super cereal note- I was highly turned on by the amount of passion I saw in him on the field yesterday. How jacked up he was after that forced fumble, coming over and yelling at everyone on the sideline getting them all hyped up all sweaty............ahhhhhhhhh he's just so sexy

i think this assessment is just a bit dramatic. it was a division game against an improved opponent. i wasnt surprised at all that Tampa made a late push. if we had lost, to label it one of the worst collapses in team history would have been highly inaccurate. we only led by 17 points. its not like the Chiefs/Colts playoff game from last season. 17 points is not an insurmountable hole with a whole quarter to play.

that being said, thank God we won! it was too close for comfort but our defense showed why they were ranked #2 last year!

Hmm we'll have to disagree on this. Just considering we are built to stop people it would've been demoralizing giving up 21 or 17 in the final 8 minutes after pitching a shutout all game. This team is also notorious for starting slow and it would've been another week of "here we go again".

Anyway it's over with, we won and it feels awesome being 1-0!

Haha! Yeah. I tweeted that we need a mud wrestling match to fight her for him. Mac said two ladies on twitter telling granny pat that they are going to fight for Luke. Then he called us both by name lol. Too funny.

Great win. We gave up too many points for the caliber of this defence vs the caliber of their offense but that will happen.

 

That was the coaches fault IMO. We got soft and it showed. Rivera needs to remember what got us to the playoffs last year, never giving a inch even when ahead. Teams like Tampa get lucky cause they take big risks and it almost won them the game. We need to make them pay for those risks.

Great analogy. Maddux was one of the top 3 pitchers of his generation because he was smarter than others. People try to say Kueckly is a very instinctive football player.

I agree he is instinctive, but this guy is really really smart. It isn't just instinct. He completely understands what play is about to happen on most plays before anyone else does.

A pissed off luke is a bad thing for opposing offenses, this attitude with Luke combine with the pure instinct he shows at mlb and the sky is the limit for him

They were still bringing the pressure, but we went to a package that brought Godfrey in the game.  The first TD was on his watch.  One weak link is evident.  Harper played well though. 

 

I also think it had to do with the fact that we had zero film on them.  It will be worse when we play them later in the season.
