He was pointing out McCown playing poorly, miscommunication from the OL, wondering why you'd throw short to owusu on 3rd, etc

Don't see what is wrong with giving props to LD or McCoy. McCoy had a good game and LD potentially could have won on a better team. You guys are trying way too hard to complain.

Don't recall him saying a whole lot of bad things about the panthers. He even said of goldson dropping pick "you get paid 9 million dollars to catch that!" And he even joked about Lovie not going for an onside kick.... Like... You guys are literally searching for things to nitpick.

I didn't mind him as a commentator. He's prone to distracting brain-fart stutters but his bias was less than most people calling their home team.

Yeah, I am not sure what game people in this thread were watching.  Barber even called BS on the roughing the passer.  He didn't show any homerism.  In fact, it was quite the opposite.

He tried to explain why Levante David would have won Defensive Player of the Year on another team. Whether it's true or not, it didn't happen, he played for the Bucs, don't walk over Luke's achievement. Towards the end he was so irate by the Bucs performance he could barely talk.

 

You aren't representing Ronde's quote at all.  Barber said David could have won DPOTY had he played on a better team AND Luke didn't have such a ridiculous season.

 

Not once did he walk over Luke's year.

 

As for the game, I think Ronde did well considering his inexperience.  He'll get better.
