Honestly I was expecting the D to be a little more dominant, but it's not a bad performance for Game 1 in that humidity.

Take away that 50 yard run by their FB, they have about 50 yards rushing. Take away a few bad penalties, they don't have but about 130 yards passing and probably don't score that first TD.

Overall, the defense was pretty damn dominant.

Star had one play today where he jumped at the exact same moment as the snap.

He was in the backfield before McCown had even taken one step of his dropback.

The D allowed 120 yards until the last half of the 4th quarter.

Those last drives were predicated on sheer luck and horrible calls.

Yep. On the Luke sack, Star completely blew up the interior OL. He split the center and OG immediately. He HAD to have gotten held because he was through there.

3 turnovers, 3 sacks not enough? 14 points given up was disappointing but it was only 2 bad drives and 1 was because of a bullsh(t penalty. It wasn't as good as I hoped but it was still a great performance.
